Located in Historic Downtown Spruce Pine, North Carolina, the "MINERAL CITY", we have a vast selection of gemstones and minerals, from rough stones that are found and dug by our "Rock Gal", to polished points from around the world. In our store, you will find points, obelisks, clusters, balls, eggs, and jewelry from quality minerals and gemstones. We have thousands of square feet of minerals, fossils, and florescence.

Our "Rock Gal" has been a "rock hound" for many years, participating in the Tampa Bay Gem and Mineral Society, as well as the Tampa Bay Fossil Club (Florida). The best part about our store is that our "Rock Gal" can go to a number of gem mines in our area and dig to her heart's content! And she is our secret weapon to showing you where these mines are!

Rocks and Things is located at 114 Oak Avenue, in Historic Downtown Spruce Pine, North Carolina, just off SR 226 on Old U.S. 19/Oak Avenue/Upper Street. Our building was built in 1940 and is on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
